BREEDING SHOWABLE QUALITY JERSEY GIANTS IS OUR FOCUS. We especially love our blues. Breeding nicely laced blues is what we are known for throughout the USA. We also offer splash and black Jersey giants. Our birds have become very popular as seen in past issues of Backyard Poultry Magazine and most recently pictured in the Dec/Jan. 2011 issue in Backyard Poultry Magazine. Be sure to check out the recent article on "Jersey Giants" in the BYP. Our birds are also pictured in Hobby Farms and the "Chickens" magazine. We ship ship hatching eggs, baby chicks, started birds, and adult all over the United States. We have received many reports of our birds winning in 4-H poultry shows as well as in APA shows. It is nice to see them getting out to shows whereby I am not able to attend shows. (Having a special needs son has kept me close to home) We hope to get a WIN page started so if you have purchased Maria's Jersey Giants we would love to hear from you along with any photos that you might I have to share please send them our way.

The top photo is of NICELY laced Blue Jersey Giants that were hatched in 2011. The second photo is of a nice Splash Jersey Giant pullet from our 2011 hatch.
Our Aussie named Ellie passes through our beautiful Blue Jersey Giant flock.
Blanca (White German Shepherd cross) shows a surprised look as she meets eye to eye with the Black Jersey Giant cock. It is like she is saying, "oh I did not know you were there!" Jersey Giants adapt well with other animals and people . We do not have any mean Jersey Giants on the farm. The giants lay beautiful medium to dark brown eggs. They are on medium to large in size.
Very handsome blue Jersey Giant Cockeral & the lighter bird is not quite a splash, but has been referred to as almost a "Self Blue" cockeral. In my experience if you want nice laced birds........they need to be darker on top and not one solid light blue or gray in color. Some of the blue lacing will almost look black in some cases.
Above is a very nice blue cock with excellent lacing. Cocks usually are 15+ lbs at maturity and hens weighing 8-10 lbs. I lady reported that the cock purchased at one year of age later weighed 23 pounds at 2-3 years of age. Now that is one big bird! I wished I could have seen it at maturity.
