*Inquiries for our Jersey giants have become enormous!! With the scare of some of our food sources being contaminated it seems that more folks are wanting to raise their own eggs and meat plus have good natured birds that will not only make great pets for the family but also have the potential to be competitive at 4-H and APA shows.
It is important that kids develop hobbies as it seems to have kept life interesting for me growing up as a child ................my parents always said that we were so busy with the farm that it seemed to have kept us out of trouble! It was always fun to toss grain to the chickens and talk to them as they all gathered around. I would encourage parents to also sign up your child in your local 4-H Club as it is fun and rewarding! Kids learn how to become more responsible, learn record keeping, judging, and much more.

All baby chicks and started birds need to be prepaid before eggs are placed in the incubator or paid in advance before shipping occurs. Birds that are shipped Express Mail will arrive within 1-2 days depending on the area in which they are being shipped.

In addition to the cost of the birds as shown below there is the cost of an airline approved poultry box ranging in price of
$10.00 to $35.00, Handling fee of $10.00, and the birds will be shipped COD going Express mail. This means that I have to pay for the cost of shipping up front & then when you receive the birds from your post office you will pay in CASH for actual shipping costs & the post office will then reimburse me by sending an US Postal money order by mail. We can only ship within the USA. Please indicate how many birds you are wanting , the color, and age of the birds so I can let you know what is available & quote you a price. Please email in advance to see if we have the birds available and/or eggs before sending payment. Please notify us of any payments sent to our Post office so we can check our P.O. box & process your order promptly. Once spring arrives we will add our paypal buttons back for the purchase of hatching eggs and/or poultry. Any US postal money orders and/or personal checks need to be made payable to Maria Hall.

JERSEY GIANT HATCHING EGGS AVAILABLE STARTING FEB/MARCH 2010.
HATCHING EGGS---The gals have quit laying for now due to winter & lack of daylight hours! We hope to have electricity in our chicken house in the near future so we can get eggs throughout the year. We will resume shipping out hatching egg orders sometime mid February to March 2010...........BLACK, SPLASH, BLUE JERSEY GIANT HATCHING EGG ORDERS are being taken now for spring shipment 2010.............! The cost is $55.00 per dozen including S/H.
