POSSIBLE DELAYS WHEN SHIPPING BIRDS:
(1)Those that have paid or put down deposits will receive birds and/or eggs first.
(2) The weather can delay shipment as the birds need to be shipped at temperatures of 45-85 degrees
(3)Getting confirmation from the AMF office that your zip code is OK for me to send birds.
(4) If birds are very young needing more time to grow before shipment can delay shipment. While I am happy to take photos of the birds and/ or would be happy to arrange a vist for you to see the birds..........the taking of photos before payments occur can delay shipment and/or the birds can become available to someone else due to the many folks wanting these "Gentle Giants!"
(5) Waiting for the availability of cages. We get the birds up 2 weeks before shipping & start the birds on electrolytes before shipment to reduce chances of stress.
(6) We only ship on Mondays through Wednesday allowing birds to arrive before the weekend.
(7) At this time we have 13 birds or 4 shipments to leave in the next week. We can take additional orders and/or deposits on birds now for shipment in the next 2 weeks.

(9) The taking of photos before deposit and/or payments occur can delay shipments. If somebody is coming in person to get the birds or if a person wants the birds shipped without seeing them .............the birds will most likely be sold to another potential buyer.
(10) Waiting on Poultry shipping boxes to come in by mail.
(11) Deposits are a form of a waiting list and does not guarantee that birds are available . IF A BIRD BECOMES UNAVAILABLE FOR ANY REASON, YOUR DEPOSIT WILL BE REFUNDED.
(12) If you are not able to receive the birds at the time selected for shipment the birds may or may not be available from that specific group & there could be a waiting period of 2-3 weeks. In a matter of week or more some birds will be in a higher price category. (if unsexed birds are ordered those are at a less price vs birds that are old enough to be sexed).
